Kneader’s Cinnamon Syrup

With “Kneaders” in the title, this recipe doesn’t even need an introduction, you know it’s going to be delicious. It’s one of my favorite home made syrup recipes and after you make it I’m sure you’ll see why!

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup water
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon. Bring to a boil over medium heat stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in evaporated milk. Serve over french toast or pancakes.

*we don’t have light corn syrup here so I use golden syrup instead, making the color a little darker than it would normally be.
